Juxtapose Collage With Adobe Photoshop - Media Design 2 PBL Project

In this hands-on introductory project, students will learn basic skills in image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop and how to use digital media to convey concepts in design, such as juxtaposition. Students will learn the digital collage process through a guided demonstration of Photoshop's Layers and Selection Tools, then work through individual tutorials to strengthen their understanding of these tools. Students will utilize their new knowledge of Photoshop to create their own digital collage using found elements and images. The modern job market is becoming increasingly competitive. Having strong Photoshop skills is a standard requirement for graphic designers, web designers, animators, video game designers and especially photographers. Understanding the concepts of art and design, such as juxtaposition, is a critical skill in our modern design-savvy world. Approximately 2 - 3 weeks
